It changes depending on which proxy/server you're using so that links/etc. match the one you're using. If you're on viperkats․eu, vipergirls․to will be changed to that. If you're on vipergirls․to it doesn't change.

A couple of months ago, CMM and I discovered (after some initial confusion) that this "domain rewriting" also occurs in PM conversations.

This can make things really difficult, especially when the discussion is actually about all the various VG domains (which ours was).

Apologies if anyone already brought this up.

I downloaded the newest version (to resolve an imagebam issue) and all's good, except I miss the opportunity to rename all posts within a thread to alternate title.
With v3.5.4 you had the option to select them all and bulk rename to alternate title (if there was one), like you're downloading a thread from studio X, and you could rename all the posts to the model name/set name, for example, and they're easier to sort out later of course. This was immediately possible from the front interface via the button "Rename selected to first alternative title", so you didn't even need to dig around.

At first glance with the newest version, I see you can still rename to an alternate title if one is given, but you have to do it one by one by Right Click on the Path and select Rename. So if the thread has like 700 posts and there is indeed an alternate title for each available (e.g. model name etc), it takes ages.
Furthermore, maybe it's just me, but I've tried it twice and I can rename one by one for the first few, and then it stopped finding alternate title so I had to delete the thread and then load it again and then it worked with manual renaming for a few more (until it didn't).
Otherwise you can do it manually 1-by-1 later, but I have to "append post ID to download folder" otherwise they all have the same name and all images will download into the same folder.

I keep using VRipper 3.5.4 because of that multi-rename button and also 3.5.4 handles multi-post links better.

The filter/select field in Threads, select posts in VRipper 5.5.0 does not seem to do anything. I just get loading whenever I enter anything in it.
The renaming is too clunky. Right click then click on arrow to find alternate title which many times is not in the list even though the general info tab shows more titles.
The renaming in 5.5.0 does make entering titles manually easy.

If you are on a corporate network or using antivirus, you can contact the support team for help. You can also report the problem to the website administrator.

You can lower concurrent connections to Vipergirls.

I asked site administrator V and this is his reply:

- 429 status code means you're rate limited. Currently the limit is 450 requests / minute on vipervault.link and 180 requests / minute on viper.to

Solution: fewer concurrent connections or add a one second pause between big ripping jobs - but that's something app developers need to implement. Disabling the leaving of likes reduces the number of requests performed by a whopping 50%.

You are trying to connect to Vipergirls on an insecure connection.

- HSTS is a policy that instructs browsers to only and exclusively load websites on HTTPS:// (note the S).

Solution: none. It's a security policy. In practice: don't try to access or force a connection on regular HTTP (without the S).

Possible solution: Open Firefox settings, switch to "Privacy & Security" tab, select "Enable HTTPS-Only mode in all windows"

Thank you Roger33 for your reply but i'm already using a VPN and i changed DNS (i chose the Google DNS). My problem is not to connect Vipergirls (all the alias work), but only use Vripper. One day it's OK, one day not. Can you tell me why ?

Important Note About Proxies
The use of proxies within VRipper is worthless, please stop using them, I am seeing multiple people posting about of 403 error code when using proxies.
403 is a response code coming from Cloudflare to block VRipper from accessing the site, cloudfalre is doing the job it is supposed to do, which is blocking automated requests from accessing the site.
I already explained this in the requirements, but it seems like no one is reading it, the admin decided to put the proxies behind Cloudflare, I can't do anything about it.
I don't think the proxy settings is working for anyone, consider this feature in VRipper as Broken. I will not reply about proxy issues anymore.

No of course, VRipper cannot connect to the site magically if it's blocked.
